…Everyone opined that all speedways should be like Irwindale Speedway, and if a speedway weren’t, it was inferior and promoters’ promotional skills were impugned. It’s ashamed to see Irwindale shuttered, because it’s important to have short track in L.A., and we hope there is a white knight eventually or it will become another Ontario Motor Speedway. But, all credit goes to promoters who make money at facilities that can sustain themselves on operations.

The deadline for registrations by postal mail and FAX for the 39th Annual RPM Promoters Workshops at Daytona Beach is February 8, 2012, but if missed it you may still register online here until February 16, 2012, without incurring an additional fee.
