Racing Promotion Monthly, RPM, was created as a resource for auto racing promoters in 1971. RPM produced its first race promoters’ workshop in 1972, and in 1974 became branded the RPM Promoters Workshops. Each winter, promoters, race track owners, officials, and series and sanctioning groups gather, network and exchange ideas at two conventions. The promoters’ newsletter embodies the Workshops’ slogan–Learn-Share-Profit. In the RPM Newsletter and at the RPM Workshops, race promoters share expertise, experience and ideas, helping each other produce better entertainment and increase ticket sales and profit. Racing Promotion Monthly reports on successful promotional ideas, industry trends and events.
