The lineup for the 46th Annual RPM Promoters Workshops which kick off November 28 in Reno Nevada, will include nationally recognized promoters, marketers, PR and legal experts, and ten topical short-track race-organizing and promotional round-table sessions.
Featured presenters include Kendra Jacobs, of Spire Sports & Entertainment and the marketing director, at Knoxville (IA) Raceway; 42nd Auto Racing Promoter of the Year Steve Beitler, promoter of Skagit Speedway, and Grays Harbor Raceway, Washington; Toby Kruse, and Darren Shanley of SpeedShift TV, producers of streaming Web race broadcasts; and Mike Lysakowski, marketing consultant and general manager at Jennerstown (PA) Speedway. Jacobs will discuss experience gained marketing Knoxville’s weekly shows and the Knoxville Nationals in today’s fast-changing marketing landscape. Beitler will chronicle lessons learned throughout a career that began on a dairy farm and included racing with the World of Outlaws to his present ownership of the Northwest’s premier dirt tracks. Kruse and Shanley will help promoters make the most of the promotional and revenue potential of internet race broadcasting. Lysakowski will help promoters maximize entertainment and marketing opportunities through better announcing. The racing legal experts of Agajanian, McFall, Weiss, Tetreault, & Crist, LLP will sum up the year’s legal happenings in his racing legal update and promoters will benefit from pro bono legal advice in an open-forum Q&A.
