The 50th Annual RPM@Reno Western Workshops held at the Eldorado at the Row in downtown Reno, Nevada are set to take place Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1. The adjustment of one-day was made to accommodate those who have an extensive travel schedule during the many events that take place during this busy time of year, further emphasizing that there is no true “off-season” in the sport.
There will be a brief registration hour on Tuesday, November 29 for early attendees at Novi in the Eldorado. The 50^th RPM@Reno Western Workshops will have a stellar lineup up of speakers and presenters set for promoters who attend the annual workshops to garner ideas and continue developing and growing their businesses while having the opportunity to connect with a variety of colleagues, industry professionals and exhibitors that touch every corner of the short track racing industry.
The speaking lineup will be headlined by several prominent figures in motorsports as well as microphone stints from television and media personality Ralph Sheheen. The “Ex Disney Guy” John Formica, who first appeared at the 49^th Annual RPM@Daytona Workshops last February will bring his unique and dynamic presentation to the Western Workshops this time. In addition Ken Clapp, former NASCAR executive and overall ambassador of the sport will address folks gathered in attendance at the Eldorado for the Workshops. It will be a “can’t miss” moment when Clapp steps to the podium. He will also be signing his recently published book, his personal historic memoirs, “From Sea to Shining Sea” which was written with help by top motorsports author, Mark “Bones” Bourcier and published by Coastal 181.
This lineup is just the tip of the iceberg in the RPM@Reno Western Workshop schedule. New sessions, including the “The Jody Session”, dedicated to Jody Deery, one of the founders and loyal believers in the Workshops. The session will be dedicated to females in the sport and will be led by the women of the sport. Joining these programs will be the traditional sessions, including the legal update and "Pro Bono" hour will be expounded upon and delivered in breakout sessions as well as many other sessions that assist and impact the short track motorsports industry.

Planning stage discussions include oval short track roundtables and the offer to host meetings in the room along with it's provided services. All of the folks that were in attendance at the 49th Annual RPM@Daytona Workshops will receive access to the archived "stream" of the Workshops. We know we are behind in this aspect, however, if you set up an account and send us an e-mail, we will be able to grant you access to the Workshops video that was streamed in Daytona.
The LIVE streaming of the Workshops will continue. These videos and additional promoter focused RPM content will be available for a reasonable subscription, making it easy for promoters who cannot attend RPM to still get access to the informative lineup of speakers and topics the event always delivers.

GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY DATES SET FOR THE RPM@RENO WESTERN & RPM@DAYTONA WORKSHOPS
- RPM@RENO Western Workshops Returning to the Eldorado -
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
A location change will be announced for the 50th Annual RPM@Daytona Workshops. Recently, the Plaza Spa & Resort in Daytona Beach, which RPM held a contract with was damaged during Hurricane Ian. The damage was substantial and the Plaza has been forced to close for full renovations. We were made aware of this during the last week of October which has set off a chain of events and scrambling to find suitable accommodations for the Workshops. The dates for the RPM@Daytona Workshops remain the same. We have reached an agreement and will be announcing it within the coming days. Please stay tuned. Once the Plaza has been restored and reopens in 2024, it is out intent to return.
The Golden Anniversary 50th Annual RPM Workshops dates and locations have been set.
DATE ADJUSTMENT:
The RPM@Reno Western Workshops will once again take place at the Eldorado at the Row on the following dates; Tuesday, November 29th (Evening Registration); Wednesday, November 30th and Thursday, December 1st, 2022. The traditional registration "happy hour" will take place at NOVI in the Eldorado on Tuesday, November 29th in the evening hours.

MYRACEPASS has given RPM an extra effort recently and we'd like to recognize their efforts, including owner, Josh Holt, who helped redesign the website and put in a lot of effort to the restructuring and design of the RPM Newsletter.
